Here's a Happy Camper !!

Wow, what can we say but the weekend was terrific.  We were camping on the waterfront same site as every year, and we were a group of 22 people, everyone loved it.  We cannot say enough about the warm hospitality and courtesy provided each year from Terry and Joe.  They make the camping experience a lot of fun.  We commend the organizing committee once again, everything went without a hitch, with the exception of a little rain that slowed things down on Sunday.  Considering the summer we have had, your prayers were answered that weekend weather wise.  The music line up was superb.  We thoroughly enjoyed the music.  It was too bad for the rain on Sunday, since we were looking forward to both Mick Armitage's band and to Mike Ryan and Gail Gavan.  However, we were pleasantly surprised that we were able to get a mix of both in any case.  Terri Clark and the other headliners, all three nights were a hit.  The talk in the park was always very favourable.  We look forward to next year, and we wish you all the good luck with the organizing once again.  We know that it is not always easy, but, it is always rewarding when the weekend is over and the outcome is positive.  We were happy on Monday to have the opportunity to meet Lise, she made the camping passes, receipts, contacts etc go smooth as silk.  I believe from our aspect, it was the easiest check-in experience.  That comes with practice too I am sure.  Mick Armitage did a great job of advertising, from our vantage point.  He certainly is a wonderful promoter.

Thanks again.  Keep us posted for next year.  Looking forward to it - all 22 of us!
